DC Announcement Announcer's Introduction The United Alumni Senior Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in 1998 as a one time reunion event. That one time event has continued into their sixth season of operation. Their marching member's history spans more than four decades from 1950 to 1990. Marching in previous drum and bugle corps such as Simcoe Boy Scout Trumpet Band, Simcoe Royal Blues, Simcoe Golden Lions, Brantford St. John's, Port Dover's Lakeshore Brassmen, Guelph Royalaires, Toronto Optimist, Oakland Crusaders and Seneca Optimist just to name a few. Today their members come from across Ontario to perform before audiences in parades and shows such as Kitchener's Oktoberfest, Montreal's St. Patrick's Day and many other locations across Ontario. Members range in age from 16 to 80. Horn Instructor is Kevin Matthew, Drum Instructor is Rob Judd. President is Diane Ransom and Corps Director is Ed Pow. The United Alumni proudly present this year's repertoire of Miserlou, Hava Nagila, Malaguena, You'll Never Walk Alone, A Place to Stand, Auld Lang Syne and Danny Boy.
